Dr. Roy D. Jeffery is a rural family physician. He graduated from the University of Ottawa in 1979 and completed his residency in Family Practice in 1981. He is a Clinical Preceptor for the University of Ottawa and the Northern Ontario Medical Schools. Dr. Jeffery has lived and farmed on Manitoulin Island since 1981. He practices rural medicine on the Island. His special interests include geriatric home care and rural health.
Dr. Jeffery has the distinction of being awarded the Ontario Family Physician of the Year - Northern Division in 2008.
